The Gen 2 Sigma is characterized by a laser cut plate stainless steel front-to-back bracket. These shifters were offered from 2010 through 2023. There are a lot of these shifters out there and we are proud to support them.
Current Sigmas are Gen 3, characterized by a cast stainless steel front-to-back bracket. Gen 3 was sold beginning in 2024. Gen 1 Sigmas were made from modified VW factory linkages.
Bell Crank for MQ250 (MK5+ 5-speed only)

Please note - the shifters with an aluminum side to side cable end are VERY difficult to readjust once all 4 bolts on the cable end are tightened so be 100% positive you have it adjusted PERFECTLY before snugging down the 4 side to side cable end bolts.
We recommend tightening only the bolt closest to the end of the cable end, then performing the elevator test to ensure you've got the shifter adjusted properly before finishing the install.
If you need to go back and readjust after the initial install you'll need to spread the cable end as covered here
